NEWS AND EVENTS  

November 6th, 2006:   ACE Data Recovery Engineering becomes DeepSpar Data Recovery Systems. Andrei Shirobokov, the president of ACE Data Recovery Engineering, proudly announced the launch of the company's new brand: DeepSpar Data Recovery Systems. As Shirobokov says: "This move is meant as a signal to the data recovery and data forensics industries that we are serious about meeting their needs. DeepSpar is about giving our customers more of what we've always given them: more depth, more power, and more data." Neither the company's core business nor its widely praised deep customer service ethic will be affected by the move.
September 29th, 2006:   September’s Advanced Training Class is now complete.
This course saw multiple attendees from the United States, Canada, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. During the three full days of training, students were exposed to hard disk drive theory and specifics of working with PC-3000 and different manufactured hard drives. Thank you to all who attended! July 19th, 2006:   Tentative release date set for Disk Imager:
After much anticipation, a tentative release date of September 2006 has been set for the Disk Imager. FCC testing has been successfully completed and we are now wrapping up final details regarding manufacturing and packaging. July 18th, 2006:   Techno Forensics 2006ACE Data Recovery Engineering Inc. has become a major sponsor of and will be exhibiting and speaking at the 2006 Techno Forensics Conference being held at the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Headquarters in Gaithersburg, Maryland and sponsored by the Institute of Computer Forensics Professionals (ICFP) We will be demonstrating how our technologies and the data recovery industry enhance the field of forensics and digital evidence investigation. The conference will be held from November 6th to 8th, 2006.
July 18th, 2006:   Techno Security 2007ACE Data Recovery Engineering Inc. has become a major sponsor of and will be exhibiting and speaking at the 2007 Techno Security Conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina from June 3rd to 6th, 2007. In its 9th year, this conference has become known as a world class training and networking event and has had attendees register from 40 different countries. ACE Data Recovery Engineering Inc. will be demonstrating our data recovery and forensic products and technologies and representing the data recovery industry.
July 17th, 2006:   Check out the newly released PC-3000 Demo Video. This video will walk you through a typical firmware issue experienced by many hard drives. It will demonstrate the basic functions of PC-3000 and give the viewer a good understanding of PC-3000's overall capabilities. The file is 36MB in size and runs just over 11 minutes long. July 10th, 2006:   Hard Disk Drive PlatterNew updates for PC-3000 PCI and PC-3000 SCSI are now available for our customers to download from the FTP Server. The PCI update release includes updates to the Western Digital utilities for drives based on the Marvel chipset as well as new loader functionality for Maxtor Grizzly and Sabre drives. Additionally, there are new models of Hitachi and Seagate drives that are now supported. The PC-3000 SCSI update now includes support for Maxtor and Quantum SCSI drives.
June 8th, 2006:   Data Recovery Training in SpainThe Advanced Training Class held in Marbella, Spain on the 5th, 6th, and 7th is complete. This session saw participants from countries such as Japan, the U.K, Croatia, Italy, Austria, Turkey, Australia, India, Canada, Russia, and the U.S.
Once again, this class was filled with data recovery professionals from all sectors of our industry.
May 11th, 2006:   The Disk Imager was released to a few selected data recovery professionals for initial Beta-testing. A few minor issues were initially identified and immediately updated. The reaction of the Beta-testers has been immensely positive and a larger, second Beta-testing phase has been planned for the near future.
March 31st, 2006:   Data Recovery Training in Ottawa, CanadaThe Advanced Training class held in Ottawa from March 28th through 30th was our most successful to date. In attendance were eighteen data recovery professionals from Canada, The United States, The Netherlands, and South Africa. This group represented individuals from multiple industry sectors including police agencies, a Justice Department, a government Forensics department, and many data recovery companies.
Additionally, the ACE Drive Imager prototype was firstly publicly demonstrated. The initial reaction was excellent and many asked to be included in the beta testing process and the first production run scheduled for later this year.
